Good morrow, gentle viewers! Today, I am departing for a land of awe and wonder, where there may or may not be elephants.
It’s a land of various foods on sticks, a veritable smorgasbord of frivolity, and sharp, pointy objects I wish I had the money to buy.
That’s right, gentle viewers. I’m going to the Maryland Renaissance Festival. It’s the final weekend, and my favourite band of Scottish misfits will be gracing the stage with three performances. Albannach are playing, and I will be there.
They’ve got fairies!
They’ve got jousting!
And codpieces, codpieces, codpieces!
I wish you all a glorious Sunday. In my absence, perhaps you could write me an entry for the Costumed Curses Flash Fiction Contest. Perhaps? Times ten and cute? Click the image below for all the details. Only six days remain to enter!
